- A 10% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance can be paid when you collect the vehicle at the rental counter.
- Your deposit is fully refundable if you cancel before your scheduled pickup date and time—just contact us in advance to process your cancellation.
- A NZ$250 security bond will be temporarily held on your credit card if you choose not to take our Zero Risk Insurance.
- This hold is automatically released within 3–5 business days after the vehicle is returned in satisfactory condition.

- This hold is automatically released within 3–5 business days after the vehicle is returned in good condition.
- For debit card users or in rare cases where the hold cannot be automatically released due to card-related issues, a manual bond release may be required.
If you’re involved in an accident with a third party, please follow these important steps:
1. Ensure Safety First
Move yourself and the vehicle to a safe location if possible—away from traffic or any immediate danger.
2. Contact Emergency Services
If anyone is injured or there is serious property damage, call 111 (New Zealand emergency services) immediately for police or ambulance assistance.
3. Exchange Details
Exchange the following with the other party involved:
Full name and contact number
Driver’s license number
License plate number
Insurance provider and policy number
4. Gather Evidence
Take clear photos of:
Both vehicles and the damage sustained
License plates
Road and weather conditions
Any relevant signs or markings
Witnesses (if any) and their contact details
5. Notify Quick Rentals
Call our Accident Support Team as soon as possible:

6. Seek Medical Attention
Even if you feel fine, it’s advisable to see a medical professional. Some injuries may not be immediately noticeable.
7. Submit Accident Details for Insurance
Please email the following to Email for insurance processing:

🛡️ Their insurance company name

📸 At least 4 photos showing:
- The other party’s vehicle plate
- Their driver’s license
- Damage to both vehicles
Please present a Visa or MasterCard credit card when picking up the vehicle, and the card must bear the same name as the primary driver of the booking.
No credit card? No worries!
If you only have a debit card, you can still rent with us by selecting our Zero Risk Insurance package.
At pickup, simply present your debit card-

Yes, you can-under certain conditions.
If you don’t have your own credit card, you may use a family member’s or friend’s credit card to make the booking and pay at the rental counter.
However, before picking up the car, please:

🖊️ Ensure the cardholder signs the form.
📄 Bring the signed form and the credit card with you to the rental counter.
✍️ The cardholder must also sign the final receipt at pickup.
